Relief Collagraph Workshop - using texture and pattern in relief printmaking

Please note this workshop takes place over 2 weeks:

4th November 10am - 1pm &

11th November 10am - 1pm

Collagraph is a textural printmaking technique where collaged materials are applied to a cardboard plate. The plate is then sealed with varnish and allowed to dry.

During this workshop you will experiment with textured wallpapers and other everyday materials and create at least one plate during the first session. Your plates will then need a week to fully dry before printing. 

During the second session you will use rollers to ink your work to create a series of detailed and interesting prints.

Please bring images or drawings to inspire your print.

Please bring:

• An apron or old clothes you don’t mind getting ink on
• A packed lunch (for full day workshops)
• Something to inspire you
• Your creativity!

Materials and refreshments will be provided.

Concession rates are available for students and those on low income.
