Botanical Monoprinting Workshop

Connect to nature and create beautiful prints inspired by natural patterns and textures. 

In this workshop we will learn to create unique one off ‘mono’prints incorporating found and collected natural materials. From pressed flowers, skeleton leaves, weeds, petals, to wool, feathers, paper and other found textures, we will explore colour, texture, and experiment with different ways of adding these fascinating naturally occurring textures into your prints. 

You may like to collect your own natural/botanical materials as inspiration - fresh, pressed or dried - start collecting now..! Please bear in mind they will need to be able to go through the press and will get inky. 

Please bring:

• You might like to bring collected/found/natural/manmade textures to experiments with. We have plenty of materials for inspiration as well.

• An apron or old clothes you don’t mind getting ink on

• A packed lunch or dinner money

• Your creativity!

• All tools, inks, paper, materials, and refreshments will be provided.

• Concessions available upon request for students and people on a low income.
