During this course you will have the opportunity to explore a range of techniques, processes and materials.

We will explore drawing and mark making, colour and composition, texture and surface quality and using mixed media processes.

There will be time to develop ideas with drawing, painting, printing and mixed media collage.

Drawing inspiration from rural and urban landscape, still life and interior spaces, figurative elements and memory, there will be ample scope to create a body of work.

Generous resources of ink, charcoal, graphite, acrylic paint, pastels, collage materials, chalks, manmade and natural materials will allow participants to take their own direction.

You will receive supportive and encouraging tuition from Jess Levine, with ample resources and freedom to play, explore and discover abstract art.

Please bring:

• An apron or old clothes you don’t mind getting ink on
• Something to inspire you
• Your creativity!
